Wireless MAC Authentication
Selecting Wireless MAC Authentication in the “Advanced Settings” screen gener- ates the “Wireless MAC Authentication” screen.
This feature allows the user to control the Wireless LAN Network by denying or allowing wireless access by specifying the MAC Address of the wireless client(s) allowed or denied on the wireless network
After changing settings, click Next or Back to continue, or Save and Restart to make all changes permanent.
Wireless Advanced Settings
Selecting Wireless Advanced Settings in the “Advanced Settings” screen generates the “Wireless Advanced Settings” screen.
SSID Broadcast
To prevent unknown users from associating with the Modem’s network (by using “ANY” as an SSID, for example), disable the Modem’s SSID broadcast by clicking in the circle next to “Disable.”
