Pushbutton Tests

The echo request test can be executed by pressing the SELECT button one time and pressing TEST. A ping test is executed by pressing the SELECT button twice and pressing TEST. The IP address pinged comes from the previously pinged address set in the menu. If it is blank, the default gateway is used. If the default gateway is blank, an error is indicated. The ERR indicator illumi- nates if any pings are not returned. The dial self-test is invoked from the front panel if the SELECT button is pressed three times. The LDN(s) must be al- ready programmed for this test to work.
