7.2.BeltTensioncontrol
Thebelttensionisofkeyimportancetogetareliable mediatransport;Aftersome usage,thebeltlooseitstension,andtheuserhasto correctthetensiontobringit againtotheinitialtension.Atleastonceamonth,th euserhastocheckandcorrect thetension.Guidelineisthatthebeltisputunde rsuchhightensionthatausercan
shufflehishandfornotmorethan50to80%ofthefin gerlengthinbetweenthebelt andthevacuumtable(atfrontside).
Ifhecanputthehandfurtherunderthebelt,the beltneedsretension: removethemetalcoversonthebackside(bothleft andright),
rotatethescrewattheREARstandtoCW(clockwis e)toputthetensionhigher Dothiscorrectionwiththesamenumbersofturnsleft andright.
Unequaltension:
ifthetensionleftandrightisdifferent,thebe ltcanshifttooneendoftheroll.This canbeseenwhenlookingtothehourglassshapedside rollsunderneaththevacuum table:ifthebelttouchestheguiderandcurlsup, thebelthastoberealigned.
