Troubleshooting (cont.)

If the camera is connected to a computer (LED next to lens is blinking), it only appears to have no power. The camera can be controlled only from the computer.

The batteries may be too weak. Replace them.

If you are using the optional AC adapter, make sure it is securely plugged into a working

outlet.

The shutter button doesn’t work.

The camera may still be saving the previous picture. Wait for the live image to appear on the LCD screen.

The camera may be in PLAY mode. Turn the Mode switch to REC.

The memory card may be full. Press the Info button. If the card is full, the number fol- lowing the symbol is 0. You must download the images to your computer, delete some or all of the images or insert another memory card.

The memory card may not have room left for an image at the currently selected resolu- tion. You can lower the resolution, download the images to your computer, delete some or all of the images or insert another memory card.

If the camera is connected to your computer, you can use only the control functions in PhotoWise to operate your camera (see the .pdf file PhotoWise Tips or on-line help in PhotoWise itself).
