To Measure deviation of the DTMF on the Test Set:
15 Press the TX key.
Tone deviation is displayed as FM Deviation.
❒If decoding a sequence of DTMF tones, proceed as follows:
aSet Gate Time to a value long enough to capture the entire sequence
(typically 1 to 5 seconds).
bSet Arm Meas to Single.
cSet Arm Meas (status message will change to “AR M ED”).
On the Radio:
dKey the Transmitter.
eSend DTMF sequence.
The symbols and tone pair frequencies will be displayed on the
Test Set as shown.
