Measurement Procedure:
1Connect the Antenna to the ANT IN connector.
CAUTION: Do not exceed the connector’s rated input or permanent instrument damage
may result.
On the Test Set:
2Press the PRESET key.
❒If monitoring an FM broadcast signal perform the following steps:
aPress the TX key.
bUse the knob to change IF Filter to 230 kHz.
cContinued to step 3.
❒If not proceed to step 3.
Using the knob and data entry keys:
3Select the SPEC ANL screen.
4From the Controls select Ant.
5Set Center Freq and Span fields to view desired spectrum.
6Set Ref Level from −30 dBm to −50 dBm as required to view the desired
signal.
