Screen saver settings are persistent states; they are unaffected by preset or a power cycle. Use the arrow keys, numeric keypad, or front panel knob to adjust numeric values.

Light Only turns the display light off, leaving the text visible at a low intensity.
Light & Text turns the display light and the text off.
If the display remains unchanged for long periods of time, use this mode to prevent the tex from burning the display.

Bright without color
When on, commands executed through the remote control bus update the signal generator display accordingly.
The display blanks, except for the message Secure Display Activated, and the front panel keys are disabled.

For details on a key, press Help and then the desired key.
NOTE With both brightness and contrast set to minimum, the display may be too dark to see the softkeys. If this happens, use Figure 2- 2 to locate the brightness and contrast softkeys and adjust their values so that you can see the display.
