8Slide the drive carrier back into the expansion bay.

9While holding the drive in place with one hand, connect a power cable and the connector cable to the back of the device.

You can temporarily slide the device slightly forward if you need more room to attach the cables to the back of the device.

While holding the drive in place, attach the SCSI ribbon cable (not included with your computer) and the power cable to the back of the drive.

While holding the drive in place, attach the ATA ribbon cable and the power cable to the back of the drive.
