Konfigurera PPPoE

Vissa leverantörer av DSL-anslutningar använder PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet). Om du använder DSL (till exempel ADSL) och behöver ange användarnamn och lösenord för att ansluta till Internet, kontrollerar du med Internetleverantören om du ska ställa in nätverket för PPPoE.

Så här ställer du in en PPPoE-anslutning:

Ta fram informationen om användarnamn, lösenord och DNS-adress (om det behövs) som du fått från din Internetleverantör (se sidan 81).

1Välj Ethernet (inbyggt) från popupmenyn Visa i inställningspanelen Nätverk.

2Klicka på PPPoE och välj Anslut med hjälp av PPPoE.

3Skriv informationen i fälten. Om du vill att alla som använder datorn ska ansluta på samma sätt kryssar du för “Spara lösenordet”.

Obs! Vill du att datorn ska anslutas automatiskt när du startar ett program som använder anslutningen, t.ex. en webbläsare eller ett e-postprogram, så klickar du på PPPoE-alternativ och markerar alternativet ”Anslut automatiskt när det behövs”.

4Klicka på TCP/IP och välj antingen Med PPP eller Manuellt från popupmenyn Konfigurera IPv4 (vilket du ska välja talar Internetleverantören om). Har du en fast IP- adress väljer du Manuellt och fyller i adressen i fältet IP-adress.
