Eftersom PowerBook-datorn är så tunn och lätt kan du ta med den till jobbet, biblioteket, klassrummet eller vart helst du vill.

När du slutar använda PowerBook-datorn bör du vänta ett litet tag tills hårddisken och eventuella optiska enheter (t.ex. en CD eller DVD) har stannat helt innan du flyttar på datorn. Undvik att skaka eller stöta till PowerBook-datorn medan skivorna fortfarande snurrar.

Obs! PowerBook har rörelsedetektorn Sudden Motion Sensor som skyddar hårddisken om du tappar datorn eller om den utsätts för kraftiga vibrationer. Mer information finns i ”Förstå Sudden Motion Sensor” på sidan 52.

När du använder datorn eller laddar batteriet blir datorn varm på undersidan. Detta är normalt. Ställ datorn på ett plant och stadigt underlag när du ska använda den en längre tid. Undersidan är en aning böjd för att luft ska kunna passera och kyla av datorn.

När du bekantar dig med din nya PowerBook kan du höra små ljud under starten och när du använder hårddisken eller den optiska enheten. När datorn har körts en stund kan små fläktar starta som surrar svagt. Systemljud som dessa är helt normala.
