6.The Windows® Setup loads the RAID controller drivers from the RAID driver disk. When prompted, press <Enter> to continue installation.

7.Setup then proceeds with the OS installation. Follow screen instructions to continue.

Windows® Vista OS

To install the RAID controller driver when installing Windows® Vista OS

1.Insert the floppy disk with RAID driver into the floppy disk drive.

2.During the OS installation, select Load Driver, click Browse, then select Floppy Disk Drive (A:). Click OK.

3.Select Intel ICH9R and click Next.

4.Follow the succeeding screen instructions to complete the installation.

6.1.4Installing an operating system

This motherboard supports Windows® XP/64-bit XP/Vista/64-bit Vista operating systems (OS). Always install the latest OS version and corresponding updates to maximize the features of your hardware.
