Abbreviated Dialing (AD)

To program/reprogram an AD button

Note: AD buttons must first be assigned by your System Manager.

To place an AD call

1On a separate sheet of paper, jot down the outside numbers, extensions, and/or feature codes you want to program

Note: Each AD button will hold one complete phone number or feature code.

Note: If you are programming an outside number, be sure to include a trunk code, if applicable.

To program additional buttons, repeat Steps 3-6

7Hang up or press Drop to end programming

1 Press selected AD xxxxx

[ringback tone]

Call is dialed (silently)

To program/reprogram an outside number, extension, or feature code into a personal list

1On a separate sheet of paper, jot down the outside numbers, extensions, and/or feature codes you want to program as items on your personal list(s) (see example to the left)

Note: Each phone number or feature code is stored as a separate item.
