The message counter usually displays the total number of answering system messages. See the table below for other message counter displays.

0 (flashing)

Displayed while setting the number of

Displayed for two seconds while adjusting the telephone base speaker volume.

Total number of old messages and memos, or message number currently playing.

 

1-99(counting)

Elapsed time while recording a memo

Total number of messages and memos.

 

 

The number flashes when there are new
