Troubleshooting

The handset screen shows

PRESS HNDST LOC 4 SEC ON BASE and the handset is out of the telephone base or charger.

Unplug the battery from the handset and plug it back in (page 9). The screen should now show NOT REGISTERED and you can follow the registration instructions on page 73.

SEARCHING

Ensure that the telephone base is powered up.
