Clicking the Attributes button in the I/O Modules section brings up a dialog box that allows you to set attribute parameters for each of the ports:

Note: KVM Adapter Cables are referred to as I/O Modules in these dialog boxes.

The port numbers are listed in the column on the left. The port's attributes are shown to its right.

ŠThe first column to the right of the port numbers specifies the operating system that the computer on the connected port is using. Choices are PC, Mac, Sun, and Other. The default is PC.

ŠThe next column specifies the OS language that the computer on the connected port is using. Choices are US English, UK English, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese. The default is US English.

ŠThe third column specifies the length of the Cat5 cable that is used to connect the computer to the port. Choices are Short (less than 25m), Medium (20–40m), and Long (greater than 35m). The default is Short.
