IP Address Determination
If you are an administrator logging in for the first time, you need to access the PN9108 in order to give it an IP address that users can connect to.
If your computer is on the same network segment as the PN9108, you can simply specify the switch's default IP address (192.168.0.60) in your browser, and you will be able to connect.
If your computer is not on the same network segment as the PN9108, there are three methods to choose from in order to assign a fixed IP address.
After you have connected and logged in you can give the PN9108 its fixed network address in the Network Settings dialog box (see page 21).
Method 1:
For computers running Windows, an IP address can be assigned with the IP Installer utility:
1.Open the IPInstaller directory on the Software CD that came with your PN9108 package and run IPInstaller.exe. A dialog box similar to the one below appears:
