2.1 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The ATN NVM-14 is a hand-h eld, head-mo unted, helmet -
mounted, or weapon-mounted night visi on system that enables
walking, driving , weapon firing, s hort-range su rveillance, ma p
reading, vehicle maintenance, and administering first aid in both
moonlight and starlight. Each unit allows for vertical adjustment
(by using head straps), fore -and-aft adjustm ent, objective lens
focus
, and eyepiece focus. The device is also equipped with an
infrared light-emitting source.
