CAUTIONS
• The ATN NVM-14 is a precision optical instrument and must be
handled carefully at all times to prevent damage.
• Do not scratch the ex ternal lens sur faces or touc h them with
your fingers.
• Wiping demisting shie ld with lens paper while wet or with wet
lens paper can damage the coating.
• To protect the image intensifier, keep the lens cap on the objec-
tive lens when the monocular is not in use or when checked out
in daylight conditions.
• The IR illuminator
is a light that is invisible to the una ided eye
for use during conditions of extreme d arkness. Ho wever, the
light from the illuminator c an be detect ed by the ene my when
using night vision devices.
