4.1 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
A. BATTERY INSTALL ATION
CAUTION
To protect the ima ge intensifi er, keep the l ens cap on th e
objective len s when the monocular i s not in us e or when
checked out in daylight conditions.
NOTE
At operatin g temper atures be low –20° C (-4°F) , alkali ne bat-
teries are not reco mmended, as op erating life wil l be severely
reduced. Lithium-iron disulfide 1.5V A A batteries or equivalent
should be used below –20°C (-4°F).
