3.1 MOUNTING PROCEDURES

It is re commended that th e eyecup be rep laced wit h the
eyeguard during weapon-mounted use.
NOTE
The ATN NV M-14 is n ot a w eapon s ight, ho wever, it can be
used in conjunct ion with a colli mated dot sight or laser aiming
device.
A. MOUNTIN G THE ATN NVM-14 TO THE WEAPON
To mount the ATN NVM-14 perform the following:
1.
Loosen the clamping knob on the weapon mount. Position the
monocular mou nt on the weapo n’s mounting ra il, adjust th e
fore/aft position of th e monocular as necessar y by loosening
the clamping knob and reposition ing the wea pon mount o n
the rail. Tighten by turning the clamping knob (see figure 3-1).
