INTERFACE: EIA-232C (CCITT V.24), -12v mark, +12v space. Optional EIA-422A (Option 17) and current loop (Option 12).

TRANSMISSION: Asynchronous.

FACTORY POWER-UP DEFAULT CONFIGURATIONS:

Baud rate: 9600.

Word size: 8 bits.

Parity: None.

Stop bits: 1.

XON/XOFF: Disabled.

Control character: Control-T (14 Hex).

Data block length: 32 characters.

Terminating character: Carriage Return (0D Hex).

Mode of operation: Mode 1 - Port expansion/sharing.

USER-PROGRAMMABLE CONFIGURATIONS:

Easy to configure using on-screen menus through the host port. Choices are saved in non-volatile memory to become the new power-up default configuration.

Baud rate: 110, 135, 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600. 19200 is available on the 525H only. Other rates optional.

Word size: 5, 6, 7 or 8 bits.

Parity: Even, odd or none.

Stop bits: 1, 1 1/2 or 2.

XON/XOFF: Enabled or disabled.

Control character: Any code from 00 Hex to 7F Hex.

Terminate character: Any code from 00 Hex to 7F Hex.

Data block length: 1 to 250 characters.

Mode of operation: 1 through 6.
