4) Format USB Storage
In orde r for the FV-L1 to be ab le to writ e files t o a USB storage device,
the USB de vice must be f ormatt ed first . Select the “Format U SB HDD”
menu with the
OK
button. A list of USB storage devices will be
displayed.
Use the
UP/DOWN
buttons to sele ct the device you wish to format and
press the
OK
button.
WARNING
If you format the USB storage device, all the data stored in the USB
storage device will be erased.
NOTE
It takes several mi nu tes to fo rm at a USB HDD.
Even if the USB s t orage device is formatted with a PC, it shou ld be re-
form atted with th e FV-L1.
If you only want to play media files from your USB storage device,
and you do not intend to copy or move media files from the FV-L1
onto your USB device, you do not n eed to format it with the FV-L1.
