3. Ethernet Connection

Wired Connection Using a Network Router (LAN)

In order to fully utilize the FV-L1, it is strongly recommended that you
connect the FV-L1 to your home network via a network router.
For this connection, the following equipment is required;
A router either with a built-in network switch or an external switch.
An Ethernet cable (provided).
As shown in the picture, connect the FV-L1 to the router with Ethernet
cable included in the box. If you purchase a router with a FV-L1 and
have no experience of connecting a router with a PC, please refer to
user’s manual of the router and connect the FV-L1 to the router in the
same manner as an additional PC. If the router has the DHCP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server feature an d it is e nabled,
all the configurations for networking will be set automatically and the
