3-6. Timer Conflict
The FV-L1 can recor d two programs simultaneously. If you attempt to
recor d m or e than t w o programs simultaneously, a ti mer conf lic t warning
message will be displayed. A timer conflict occurs in the following
situations;
 A new ti mer overlaps with two existing timers at some point.
 A timer begi n s while two recordings are already in progress.
 A timer begins while a recording is already in progress on the same
service.
NOTE
 When you set a new timer, the FV-L1 will only check for conflic ts wit h
existing timers. It will not check if the new timer conflicts with
recordings started by the instant recording method, and will only do
this check when the timer is ready to begin.
1) New Timer Overlaps Two Existing Timers

If you att empt to do so, a time r conflict dialog is di spla yed to show the
conflicting timers, as shown below.
In order to add the new timer, you must delete one group of timers
displayed in the list. Use the
LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select a group of
timers and press
OK to de l e t e that gr oup. I f you dec ide not to proce e d,
press
EXIT, and the new ti mer will be cancelled.
NOTE
 You may find that re-organising your existing timers to remove
overlaps where possible will solve many timer conflict problems.
