3.)Scrape excesspaint intocan fromroller.
Removethe rollerby graspingthe outerend capand theroller frameand
usingyour thumbon theopposite handto pushthe rolleroff asshown.
HINT:Wear disposablegloves oruse aplastic bagover rollerto keep
yourhands clean.
4.)Remove theinner endcap byinserting themetal tubeof theroller frame
intothe capabout 1inch andat anangle. Pullthe rollerframe gently
towardsyou (fig.N).
Removethe rollercore. Emptyany remainingpaint.
Removethe outercap byinserting theroller frameinto theroller and
gentlypushing thecap off(fig. O).
1.)Remove thefill tubefrom thepaint canlid andpush
itdirectly intothe fillvalve. Whencleaning watersoluble paints,submerge thefill tubeinto warm,soapy
waterand pullthe plungerin andout 5or moretimes. Whenusing oilbased paints,instead ofwater, use
propercleaning solventlisted onmanufacturers containerand disposeof properly.
HINT:Use asink, awash tub,or anycontainer thatwill holdwater toperform aboveflushing process.
Replacewater whendirty orwhen movingto thenext step.
2.)Remove thefill tube.Then submergethe rollerframe, andensuring thefill valveis also
underwater, pullthe plungerin andout 5or moretimes (fig.Q).
HINT:When usinga smallcontainer, pivotthe rollerframe tothe 80degree positionto fit
insidecontainer (fig.Q1).
3.)Remove rollerframe andcontinue cleaningas needed.Submerge thehandle inthe warm,soapy
waterand pullthe plungerin andout 5or moretimes.
HINT:Wipe offremaining paintfrom theend ofplunger (a).
