Onlyuse a perforated roller cover. Standard roller covers will not work.
• Inspectroller coverfor lintbefore painting,if neededwash anddry beforeusing.
• Whenusing theRAPIDROLLERTM forthefirst application, it will take most of thepaint in the RAPIDROLLERTMtube to saturate the roller cover.A second
fillmay be needed.
• Keeproller movingwhile pushingplunger inor squeezingtrigger toprevent dripping.
• Stop pushingplunger inor squeezingtrigger ifthe rollerstarts toskid, slideor drip.
• Whenpainting intightareas partiallyfillRAPIDROLLERTMorpivot the frame. This reducesits overall length.
• Whenleaving RAPIDROLLERTMunattended fora longer period of time, wrap roller inaplastic bag to prevent drying, removing as muchair as possible
frombag.
• Makesure thetype ofpaint youuse canbe cleanedwith eithermineral spirits(foroil-based paints)or awarm waterand soapsolution (forwater
solublepaints like latex).
Usedrop cloths to protect your floors and anythingelse in the room that you do notwant accidentally splattered with paint.
• Whenusingkickstand,alwayspivotheadto straightpositionandreleasepressurebypullingplungerout slightly.
1.)Lubricate part (a) and (b) using petroleum jellyprovided. Attach
assembledroller (c) onto RAPIDROLLERTMframe (d). Make sure roller
assemblysnaps into locking clip on outer end cap.
2.)Push roller frame (a) over end of handleassembly (d) ensuring O-ring
(b)is seated inside roller frame. Thread handleassemblycollar (c)
snuglyonto threads of roller frame (a).
3.)The spatter shield helps reduce spatter whenpainting,especially on
ceilings.Position the spatter shield by rotating around rollerframe.
NOTE:Spatter shield is also helpful to prevent drippingwhen
RAPIDROLLERTM isresting onkickstandand is not in use. Just position
spattershield under roller.
1.)Insert the small end of the fill tube(a) through the hole in the bottom
sideof the paint can cover (b).
Pushin until tight and to the ridge ofthe fill tube.
2.)Snap paint can cover onto paint can (fig.E). Lubricate top of fill tube
stemwith a small amount of petroleum jelly includedin carton.
NOTE:The can cover will not fit on somepaint containers. It can be
stretchedover larger cans or compressed slightly by squeezingto fit
smallercans.
Tofill the RAPIDROLLERTM whenthe can cover doesnotfit your paint
container,omit the can cover and placefilltube directly into container.
Holdthe fill tube with hand to stabilize asneeded.
Afill tube can clip is availableasan optional accessory for use with other
sizecontainers. See “Accessories”.
Fordeeper containers like 5 gallon pails, fit asection of ¾ inch I.D. (inner
diameter)clear tubing over the ribs of the filltube to extend it
(fig.E1) and clip to side of pail with filltube can clip. Cut bottom end of
tubingat slight angle. Tubing is availableatmost hardware stores.
