Donne environ 4 portions.
BARRES AUX DATTES ET AUX NOIX
2 gros œufs
5 ml (1 c. à thé) d’extrait de vanille
125 ml (½ tasse) de sucre
185 ml (¾ tasse) de farine tout usage non tamisée 4 ml (¾ c. à thé) de poudre à pâte
Une généreuse pincée de sel
185 ml (¾ tasse) de dattes hachées
125 ml (½ tasse) de noix hachées Sucre à glacer
Préchauffer le four en mode BAKE (cuisson) à 177°C (350°F). Dans un bol moyen, mélanger les œufs, la vanille et le sucre. Battre avec un batteur à main Black & Decker® jusqu’à ce que le mélange épaississe, environ 3 minutes. Incorporer la farine, la poudre à pâte et le sel et remuer jusqu’à l’obtention d’un mélange uniforme. Incorporer les dattes et les noix.
Étendre uniformément dans un moule carré de 8 po, non beurré. Faire cuire pendant 30 minutes, jusqu’à ce que le dessus soit doré et qu’un cure dents inséré au centre en ressorte propre, en veillant à placer la grille dans les rainures supérieures et à abaisser la grille.
Laisser refroidir dans la plaque de cuisson sur la grille pendant 20 minutes. Saupoudrer généreusement de sucre à glacer et couper en barres avant de servir.
Voilà une bonne collation après l’école ou un dessert nourrissant.
Les barres se conserveront dans un contenant hermétique pendant une semaine, s’il vous en reste!
