Chapter 6: IP Address Assignment
-Aggregation with non-IEEE 802.3 MAC link
-Operating in half-duplex mode
-Aggregate the ports with different data rate
Link Aggregation Algorithm: The switch supports two types of link aggregation algorithm, MAC source and MAC source/ MAC destination.
Source MAC Address: Use to enable source MAC address for Aggregate Mode.
Source/ Destination MAC Address: Use to enable destination MAC address for Aggregate Mode.
Figure 4-29. Trunking configuration screen for LACP.
Member: Choose the trunking ports you want to enable in the link group 1 and 2.
State: Enable or disable the link group state.
Type: Choose the link aggregation type, static or LACP.
LACP: A port use LACP as its trunk method to get aggregated with other ports also using LACP.
Static: A port use Static Trunk as its trunk method to get aggregated with other ports also using Static Trunk.
Operation Key: This is the value same as system priority if you choose LACP for link aggregation.
Time Out: Choose short or long time out.
Activity: When you aggregate link two switches, one of them should be configured as active.
