ADJUSTING THE DISPLAY

➮Move the joystick 7 up/right or down/left to adjust the brightness.

➮Press the joystick OK 7 or the MENU button 8 to close the menu.

The settings are saved.

Night-time display brightness

➮Press the MENU button 8.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “DISP” display item.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “NGHT” display item.

➮Move the joystick 7 up/right or down/left to adjust the brightness.

➮Press the joystick OK 7 or the MENU button 8 to close the menu.

The settings are saved.

Setting the button illumination colour

You can choose the colour of the de- vice’s button illumination.

Choose between “COLOR 1” or “COLOR 2”.

➮Press the MENU button 8.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “DISP” display item.

➮Repeatedly press the softkey 4 assigned to the “KEYS” display item until the required colour (“COLOR 1” or “COLOR 2”) ap- pears in the display.

➮Press the joystick OK 7 or the MENU button 8 to close the menu.

The settings are saved.

Adjusting the main display settings

You can select which information you want displayed in the second line of the screen’s main display area.

In radio mode, the first line in the main display area contains the station name (if available). For the second line, you can choose between the clock (“CLK”), level display (“SPEC”), frequency (“FREQ”) or programme type (“PTY”).

In CD mode, the first line contains the current track. In CD-changer mode, it contains the track and the CD number. The clock, level display or playing time (“ELAP”) are available for the second line.

➮Press the MENU button 8.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “DISP” display item.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the “MAIN” display item.

➮Press the softkey 4 assigned to the required display type.

➮Press the joystick OK 7 or the MENU button 8 to close the menu.
