Remote Mounting the Setback Control

Prepare the Wires for Installation

Step 7: Strip approximately ¼” of the wire’s insulation from each end of the three wires. This is shown in Figure 13.

Install Wire (A) – Backplate

Step 8: Using wire (A), insert one end into the top terminal location on the backplate (located on the Setback Control Junction Box Assembly). This is shown in Figure 14. Be sure that the wire already located in this location is not dislodged.
