COFFEE MAKING TIPS & PREPARATION
NOTE
After 5 minutes of continuous
steaming, the machine will
automatically disable the steam
function. The STEAM/HOT WATER
light will flash. When this occurs
return the STEAM/HOT WATER dial
to the STANDBY position.
TIP
Water is automatically released
into the drip tray after the steam
and hot water functions to ensure
the thermocoil is at the optimal
temperature for extracting espresso.
This is normal. If you find water
around the front of the machine,
ensure the drip tray is firmly pushed
in place after using the steam/
hotwater functions.

HINTS & TIPS
Use freshly roasted coffee be ans,
with a `roasted on’ date and use withi n
2 weeks of `roasted on’ date.
Grind beans immediate ly before
brewing as ground coffee q uickly loses
its flavor and aroma.
Store coffee beans in a cool, da rk and
dry container. Vacuum seal if pos sible.
Buy coffee beans in small b atches
to reduce the storage time and store
no more than one weeks supply at
any time.
