DO NOT attempt any maintenance, adjustments or service with engine and blade running. STOP engine and blade. Remove starter insert. Disconnect spark plug wire and secure away from spark plug. Engine and components are HOT. Avoid serious burns, allow sufficient time for all com- ponents to cool.

Important: The mulching plug must be removed only when bagging is desired, and must be replaced as soon as bagging operations are completed.

1.Raise the rear discharge door (A, Figure 12).

2.Remove the mulching plug (B) from the rear dis- charge chute.

on the deck (C) go through the slots in the deflec-

 

 

 

tor (B).

 

 

 

 

 

3. Lower the mulching cover against the deflector.

3. Holding the grass bag handle (A, Figure 13),

 

 

 

install the grass bag onto the mower, making sure

 

 

 

that the grass bag hooks (B) are hooked onto the
