Scanning an image into your Macintosh®

You can scan a whole page.

scan a portion after pre-sca nning the document.

Scanning a whole page

1Load your document in the ADF.

Note

If your model is a flatbed type, you can also place your document on the scanner glass.

2Adjust the following setti ngs, if needed, in the Scanner Setup d ialog box:

Resolution

Color Type

Scanning Area

Brightness

Contrast

3Click Start.

When scanning has finished, the image will appear in your graphics application.
