Do not place anything in front of the M FC that will block received
faxes. Do not place anythin g in the path of received faxes.

Unplug this product f rom the power sock et and refer servic ing to
Authorized Service Personnel under the following conditions:
When the power cord is damaged or frayed.
If liquid has been spilled into the product.
If the product has been expo sed to rain or water.
If the product does not oper ate normally when the operati ng
instructions are foll owed. Adjust only those controls that are
covered by the operating in structions. Improper adjustmen t
of other controls may result in damage and will o ften require
extensive work by a qualifi ed technician to restore the
product to normal operati on.
If the product has been drop ped or the cabinet has been
damaged.
If the product exhibits a d istinct change in performance,
indicating a need for servi ce.
