Do not place anything in front of the M FC that will block received
faxes. Do not place anythin g in the path of received faxes.

Unplug this product f rom the power sock et and refer servic ing to
Authorized Service Personnel under the following conditions:
■When the power cord is damaged or frayed.
■If liquid has been spilled into the product.
■If the product has been expo sed to rain or water.
■If the product does not oper ate normally when the operati ng
instructions are foll owed. Adjust only those controls that are
covered by the operating in structions. Improper adjustmen t
of other controls may result in damage and will o ften require
extensive work by a qualifi ed technician to restore the
product to normal operati on.
■If the product has been drop ped or the cabinet has been
damaged.
■If the product exhibits a d istinct change in performance,
indicating a need for servi ce.
