Additional receiving operations

Printing a reduced incoming fax

If you choose On, the machine reduces each page of an incoming fax to fit on one page of Letter, A4, Legal or Folio sized paper.

The machine calculates the reduction ratio by using the page size of the fax and your Paper Size setting (see Basic User's Guide: Paper settings).

c Swipe up or down, or press a or b to display Fax.

d Press Fax.

e Swipe up or down, or press a or b to display Setup Receive.

f Press Setup Receive.

g Swipe up or down, or press a or b to display Auto Reduction.

h Press Auto Reduction.

i Press On (or Off).

Your machine prints received faxes on both sides of the paper when 2-sidedis set to On.

Use Letter, Legal or Folio (8.5 in. ⋅ 13 in.) sized paper for this function [16 to 28 lb (60 to

NOTE

When 2-sidedis turned on, incoming faxes will automatically be reduced to fit the size of paper in the paper tray.
