Ifyou desire touse a different Quick Program Groupor Individual Day program modeyou can
changeby pressingthe DAY/TIMEbutton to select another group inthe following sequence,
WholeWeek- Weekday - Weekend - Monday - Tuesday- Wednesday- Thursday -
Friday- Saturday- Sunday - Whole Week.

Onceyou have finishedyour Quick Program Groupor Individual Day selection. Press the or
buttonsto changethe time to the desired hour in onehour increments, pressPROG
button.The minute portion of the setpointtime will begin flashing.

Pressthe or buttonsto changethe time to the desired minutein 10-minute increments,
pressPROG button. The SET TEMP will beginflashing.
6.
Pressthe or buttonsto changethe setpoint temperature tothe desired setting in 1˚ F
increments(0.5˚C), press PROG button. The thermostat will now display theDAY
setpointtimeand temperature. Again,you will see the hour portion of thesetpoint time
andthe AM/PM indicatorwill be flashing.
7.
Followsteps4 through 6 to set the setpoint timesand temperatures for the DAY,EVEand
NIGHTsetpointsfor the Quick Program Group orIndividual Day selection for theHEAT mode.
8.
Placethe systemswitch in the COOL mode of operation. The display will showCOOL. Follow
steps2 through6 to program the setpoint times andtemperatures for the Quick Program
Groupor IndividualDay selection for the COOLmode.
9.
Repeatsteps 3 through8 for additional Quick ProgramGroups or Individual Day programming
asrequired.
NOTE: Toerase all entered programs,current time of day, day of week and other user
settings,gently press RESET button using a paper clip or a small pencil tip. This will return
allThermostat settings to their default values.

6.1 ReviewSet Temperature

ofthe currentroom temperature, and the indicator
SETTEMP will bedisplayed.

whenthe or buttonsare released. Continuing
tohold the or buttonsfor 3 secondsor longer will allow the userto temporarily
overridethecurrent programmed setpoint(See Temporary ProgramOverride).

REMEMBER,thisthermostat includes an automatic compressor protection
featureto avoid potential damage to the heat pump system from short cycling (See
CompressorProtection).
6.4 EfficientRecovery Mode (ERM™)
Thisthermostatis equipped with a special featureto maximize your energy savingsby
utilizingthemost effective source of heatingor cooling to meet your program needsduring
recoveryfrom setback(or setup) temperatures. Our Efficient Recovery Mode(ERM
)feature
isdesigned toautomatically calculate when toturn your first (heat pump) stage of yourmulti-
stageheating orcooling system to meet your upcomingcomfort setpoint temperaturesetting.
Whilein normaloperating mode, this featurewill start calculating the starttime for your first
stage(heat pump)two hours prior to the upcoming comfortsetpoint temperature. During this
twohour time periodit will monitor performanceand control your system staging
requirements.Thesecond (auxiliary)stages of heating or cooling willbe available during this
2-hourperiodif required to meet extraordinaryheating or cooling requirements.
6.5 CompressorProtection
Thisthermostatincludes an automatic compressorprotection feature to avoidpotential
damageto the heatpump system from short cycling. This thermostatautomatically provides
a5-minute delayafter turning off the heating orcooling heat pump output to protectthe
compressor.

6.2 TemporaryProgram Override
6.3 PermanentHold (Vacation) Mode
1.
Pressand hold or buttonsfor3 seconds. The
entiredisplaywill flash once and the SET TEMP
indicatorwillbe flashing. Release the or
buttonsand pressthe or buttonsagain as
desiredto adjustthe set temperature.
2.
Thedisplay willreturn to normal operating mode
after15 secondsor you can press RESUME button.
3. Theprogram indicator (MORN, DAY,EVE OR NIGHT) will be flashing in the display
indicatingthat a Temporary Program Override is in effect.The Temporary Program
Overridewill reset when the next setpoint time occurs.
1.
Pressthe HOLDbutton to permanently bypass the
programschedule. The current setpoint
temperaturewillbe held permanently and HOLD
andTEMP will showin the display.
2.
Pressthe HOLDbutton again to return the
thermostattonormal program operation.
3. Youcan view or change your setpoint at any time using the or buttons
(seeReview Set Temperature orTemporary Program Override).
