Verifyyourprogram setpoint time entries. The heating and

individualsetpointtemperatures for the MORN,DAY,EVEand

setpointandthe temporary override will expireor change
setpointtemperatureto desired comfort level.

releasepermanenthold and return the thermostatto normal

Checkto see if OFFis shown in display. This indicates that the
systemis turnedoff at the thermostat. Move the system
selectorswitchto the HEAT or COOL position. After the
compressorshortcycle protection 5-minuteperiod expires the
systemshouldstart within a minutes time.
Compressorprotectionfeatures may be in effectdue to
compressorshortcycle conditions. See Compressor Protection
sectionfor fullexplanation of this feature.
HeatPump may be malfunctioning. Review theCHECK status
indicatorlightto see if it is lit. If the CHECK status indicatorlight
islit, calla professional service technicianto confirm heat pump
operationandprovide necessary service. If heating is required
youcan slide thesystem switch to EMER setting whichwill start
theEmergencyHeat source to provide heatinguntil the heat
pumpcan be serviced.

of45˚ to 90˚ F (7˚ to32˚ C).

Thetemperaturesensed by the thermostat is higherthan the
99˚F (37˚ C) upperlimit of the thermostats displayrange. The
displaywillreturn to normal after the sensedtemperature
lowerswithinthe 40˚ to 99˚ F (5˚ to 37˚ C) display range. Turn on
thecooling systemor use other methods to lower the
temperatureaccordingly.
Thisconditioncould occur from the system beingturned off
duringan exceptionallywarm period or upon installationwhen
thethermostathas been stored for a long period oftime in a
warmvehicleor location prior to being installed. The thermostat
isequipped witha mechanical high temperaturesafety switch
thatwill turn offthe system should the temperatureexceed 99˚
F(37˚ C).
