Voice commands

You can use voice commands to control message playback. Four different users can save their commands, so that the BT Diverse 5450 answering machine can recognise their voices.

The functions available are:

Delete.

Forward.

Back.

Each user must day all three statements in the right order for voice command to work.

To record voice commands

Make sure there is minimum background noise while recording.

Press the RIGHT button.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Mail.

OK Press OK.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Prompts.

OK Press OK. Display shows Record Command.

OK Press OK. Display highlights

User 1.

If necessary, scroll DOWN to the User you want.

OK Press OK and follow the voice prompts to record the commands. You are asked to repeat each command.

Note

If the memory is full, you will not be able to record voice commands.

To switch voice commands on/off

You must record your voice commands first, see opposite.

Press the RIGHT button.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Mail.

OK Press OK.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Voice Prompts.

OK Press OK. Display shows Record Command.

Press DOWN to scroll to

Commands.

OK Press OK to switch On and Off.

Press and hold the RED PHONE to return to the idle

screen.
