Basic Copying Features

Flow of Copy Operations

This section describes the flow of basic copy operations.

NOTE

•For the following items, see the Reference Guide:

-Main power and control panel power switch

-Routine maintenance

•The output quality may deteriorate if the platen glass is dirty. Always keep the platen glass clean.

•Do not touch the feeder or platen cover while copying. Rocking the feeder or cover can distort the image being copied.

1 Press the appropriate keys in accordance with the messages displayed on the LCD display.

If there are no messages displayed, this operation is unnecessary.

●If the message <INSERT CONTROL CARD> appears:

❑ Insert a control card into the optional Card Reader-E1.

The Standby display appears.
