1Switch to Advanced Mode and click [More].
2Select the [Rapid recovery system] check box.

NOTE
If you select [Rapid recovery system] and a paper jam or other error causes document feeding to stop while scanning, scanning stops without sending an error notification to the application program. After you clear the paper jam or resolve the error, you can resume the normal scanning operations.
