Troubleshooting

If you have a problem with your camcorder, refer to this checklist. Consult your dealer or a Canon Service Center if the problem persists.

Depending on the level of repair, the hard disk may be initialized or replaced, resulting in permanent data loss. Before having the camcorder repaired, back up

important recordings using an external device ( 40). Canon shall not be liable for any data loss due to repair.

To verify a possible problem, data on the hard disk will need to be checked. However, only the minimum amount necessary will be checked and the data will not be copied or saved.
