Execute service mode ‘412’ (error clear) to
clear E004.
Turn on the power switch. Does the fixing
heater turn on?
Replace the power supply PCB. Is the
problem corrected?
See “The fixing heater fails to
turn on.”

Check the wiring from the
power supply PCB to the DC
controller PCB; if normal,
replace the DC controller
PCB.

Are all connectors of the main motor (M1)
connected?
Turn on the power switch. Set the meter
range to 30 VDC, and connect the probes to
J209-4 (+) and J209-3 (-) on the DC
controller PCB. Is the voltage about 24 V?
Replace the main motor. Is the problem
corrected?
Connect the connectors.
See “DC power is absent.”
