Note 1: There is no cool down phase if you finish Hill pro- file program at the end of the specified exercise time.

Note 2: If you press the ADV button during exercise, the program enters a 5 minute cool down phase and the pedal resistance becomes the minimum of 0.5 kg·m. The LCD still displays the same exercise data. The program ends if the 5 minute cool down phase elapses or if the ADV button is pressed.

• Press the

MODE button to change the blinking numeric.

• After setting your conditions, adapt the earlobe pulse sensor

and depress ADV button to start program.

• After printing out the conditions, the LCD changes as in the

drawing.

 

 

• The hill pattern is shown in the graphic section, and the dot at the

far left is blinking. One dot along the vertical axis indicates 0.5

kg·m, while one along the horizontal axis differs in proportion

with the preset exercise time. If it is 16 minutes for example, one

dot stands for 30 seconds, and if 32 minutes one is 1 minute.

• When the time represented by one dot is over, the dot to the

immediate right will start blinking. With the lapse of time, the

blinking row will move to the right. The position of the blinking

dots determines where you are in the hill pattern.

Note: There is no warm up phase in the "Hill profile training" program.

The pedal resistance (torque, kg·m) changes periodically ac- cording to the exercise pattern.

Remarks: In this program, you can change the pedal resis- t a n c e t e m p o r a r i l y b y d e p r e s s i n g

either or button, whenever desired.
