Mounting Before mounting this fi xture, read and f ollow the safety recommend ations indic ated in
the Safety Notes sec tion (page 2 of this manual).
Orientation
Always mount this fixture in any s afe positi on whil e makin g sure th at there is adequ ate
room around it for ventilation, c onfiguration, and maint enance.
Rigging CHAUVET® recommends following the general guidelines below when mounting the Q-
Spot™ 160-LED.
• When selecting an installation l ocation, consider ease of access to the fi xture for
operation, programming adj us t m ents , and routine maintenanc e.
• Make sure to mount this f ixture away from any fl ammable material as indic ated in
the Safety Notes section.
• Never mount the fixtur e in places where rain, hig h humidity, extreme temp erature
changes, or restricted ventilation may affect it.
• If hanging this fixture, make sure that the locati on where you are mounti ng the
fixture can support its weight. Please see the T echnical Specifications section of this
manual for the weight r equirement of this fixtur e.
Procedure
You can mount the Q-Spot ™ 160-LED on a fl at, rigid s urfac e or hang i t from a truss .
This fixture includes two mou nting brac kets for over head mou nting. You c an attach a
rigging clamp to . You must supp ly your own “C ” or “O” c lamps as well as you r saf ety
cable, making
sure that they are capable of supporting the weight of this fixture. You
need to use two clamps per fixture.
