Returns Procedure
The user must s end th e merchand ise prep aid, in the original box, an d
with its original
packing a n d access or ies. CHAU VET® will not issu e call tags.
Call CHAUVET® and r equest a Return Merchandise Aut horization Nu mber (RMA #)
before shipping the fixtur e. Be prep ared to provi de the mod el number, s erial number,
and a brief description of the cause for the retur n.
The user must clearly label the package with a R eturn Merchandise Authori zation
Number (RMA #). CHAUVET® will refuse any product returned with out an RMA #.
DO NOT write the RMA # directly on the b ox . In ste ad, wr ite it on a pro perly affixed
label.
Once you receiv e the RMA #, please include the following inf ormation on a piece of
paper inside the box:
Your name
Your address
Your phone number
The RMA #
A brief description of t he problem
Be sure to pack the fixture prop erly. Any shippi ng damage resul ting from inad equate
packaging will be the customer’s responsib ility. As a suggestion, pr oper UPS packing or
double-boxing is always a safe method t o use.
CHAUVET® re serves the right to use its own discretio n to repair or repla ce
returned product(s).
Claims
The carr ier is responsible for any d am ag e i nc urred during shipping to this pr oduct or any
part that shipped with it. T herefor e, if the r eceived merchandise appears
to have
damages caused during shipp ing, the customer must subm it t h e d am ag e r ep ort an d an y
related claims with th e carri er, not C HAUVET ®. The cus tomer must s ubmit th e report
upon reception of the d amaged merch andis e. Fail ure t o do s o in a tim ely
manner may
invalidate the customer ’s claim with the carrier .
For other issues such as mis sing c om pon ents or p arts, dam age n ot r elat ed to s hipp ing,
or concealed damage, th e cus t omer must make c lai ms t o CH AUV ET ® within seven (7)
days of receiving the merchand ise.
