Control Panel

Description

Button Function
<MENU> Exits from the current menu or fu nction
<ENTER> Enables the currently display ed menu or sets the curr ently selected
value in to the current f unction
<UP> Navigates up wards through the menu list and increases th e numeric
value when in a functi on
<DOWN> Navigates d own w ar ds thr ough the menu list and decreases the
numeric value when in a function

LCD Display

The Legend 300E Spot f eatures a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) th at provides
plenty of information r egard ing th e fi xture’s s etti ngs and st atus. I n addi tion, t he LCD is
reversible. This allows reading it normally whether the fixture is on the floor or hanging
from a truss.
Upon power up, the LCD will sh ow the Legend l ogo and the f ixture identif ication, as
shown on the left figure abov e. Aft er complet ing th e power u p tests, the LCD will show
the DMX address, the DM X mode, and the tem per ature, along with th e warni ng sig n if
the tests have detected an error.
Press <ENTER > to read the corresponding error messa ge (see Err or M essa ges in
the Technical Information section).
Press <ENTER> whil e looking at the error messages to c lear them.

Control Options

You can set the Legend 3 00E Spot start ad dress in the 00 1~512 DMX rang e. This
allows for the control of up to 17 fixtures in the 29-channel Mode 2. The Legen d 300E
Spot works with any compatibl e DMX controller using stand ard DMX cables or the
optional W-DMX recei ver.

Navigation Buttons

To enter programming mode, pres s <MENU> unt il you see the Main Menu.
To highlight a menu option or to chang e a sett ing, press <UP> or <DOWN>.
To change menu levels as shown in the Menu M ap, press < ENTER> or <M ENU>. This
is equivalent to moving r ight and left of the Menu M ap, respectively.
To accept the current or new value, pr es s <E NTER>.
To return to the previous menu withou t making changes, press <MENU>.
To exit programming mode, pr ess <MENU> until you see the Main Menu or do n ot pres s
any button for 30 secon ds.
