Safety Notes Please read the following notes carefully because they include important safety
information about the install ation, usage and maintenanc e of th is pro duc t.
It is important to read all these notes before s tarting to work with t his product.
There are no user servicea ble parts inside this product. Any re ference to
servicing it you may find from now on in this User M anual will only apply to
properly CHAUVET® certified technician s. Do not open th e housing or attempt
any repairs unless you are one of them.
Please refer to all applicable loca l codes and regulations for the proper
installation of this product.
Personal Safety
· Avoid direct eye exposur e to the light sourc e while the fixture is on.
· Always disconnect this product from its power source befor e servicing.
· Always connect this pr oduct to a grounded circuit to avoi d the r is k of el ectr ocution.
· Lamp explosion hazard! Do not open the lamp cover within five minut es of having
turned off the fixture.
· The bulb remains hot f or a long time after turn off. Never touch the b ulb
barehanded and always handle it by its metallic contacts.
· Do not touch this product’s housin g wh en op erating because it may be very h ot .
Mounting and Rigging
· This product is for ind oor use only! To prevent r isk of fire or shock, do not expose
this product to rain or moisture.
· Make sure there are no f lammable materials clos e to this product whil e operating.
· When hanging this prod uct, always secure it to a fastening devi c e using a safety
chain/cable (not provided).
· Do not carry this fixture from th e head; use the handles i nstead.
Power and Wiring
· Always make sure that you are connecting this prod uct to the proper volt age, as
per the specifications in this man u al or on t h e pr oduct’s sticker.
· Connect this fixture ON LY to a grounded and prot ected circuit.
· Never connect this produc t t o a dimmer pack.
· Make sure the fixture’s power cable is not crimped or damaged.
· Never disconnect this p roduct by pulling or tu gging on the power c able.
Operation
· Do not operate this fi xture if you see damage on the housing, lenses, ultraviolet
filter, or cables; have the damag ed par ts rep laced by an authorized technic i an at
once.
· Do not aim this fixture t oward any surface clos er than 16 feet (5 m). Otherwise, you
may damage or overheat the illumi n at ed surfac e.
· Do not cover the ventil ation slots when the fi xture is operating to av oid internal
overheating.
· Do not aim this fixture t oward the Sun. Other wise, the lenses could c oncentrate the
solar energy and cause internal ov er heating.
· The maximum ambient tem perature (Ta) is 104° F (40° C). Do not oper ate this
product at a higher temperature.
· In case of a serious oper ating problem, stop us ing this product imme diately!
