Automatic Mode
To enable the Automatic m ode, follow the instructi ons below:
1. Press <MEN U> repeatedly until the act ive option of the Auto/Soun d branch
(AF1 to rdM) shows blinking o n the display.
2. Use <UP> or <DOW N> to select an automatic pr ogram (AF1~ASM).
3. Press <ENT> (t he new auto program will sh ow solid on the display).
Laser Sky Color
Mode
To enable the Laser Sky Color mode, follow the instr uctions below:
1. Press <MEN U> repeatedly until the act ive option of the Laser Sky Color
branch (LS1 to LSS) shows blinki ng on the display.
2. Use <UP> or <DOW N> to select a laser sky col or option (LS1~LSS).
3. Press <ENT> (t he new laser sky color will show solid on the display ).
Laser Sky Effect
Mode
To enable the Laser Sky Eff ect mode, follow the instr uctions below:
1. Press <MEN U> repeatedly until LSU shows bli nking on the display.
2. Use <UP> or <DOW N> to change the angle of the l aser sky effect.
3. Press <ENT> (L SU will show solid on the displ ay).
Reverse Motion
To reverse the direction of the pan and tilt motion, follow the instructions below:
1. Press <MEN U> repeatedly until rEv shows bli nking on the display.
2. Press <ENT> (t he current option for pan di rection will show (P-n or P-Y).
a) To change the setting, use <UP> or <DOWN> and cont inue to step “3”.
b) To keep the setting, conti nue to step “3”.
3. Press <ENT> (t he current option for tilt direction will show (t-n or t-Y).
a) To change the setting, use <UP> or <DOWN> and cont inue to step “4”.
b) To keep the setting, conti nue to step “4”.
4. Press <ENT> (t he current software versi on will show briefly on th e display,
followed by rEv).
Master/Slave
Mode This mode allows a singl e Scorpi on™ GBC 2.0/RGY prod uct (the “master”) to contr ol
the actions of one or more Scorpi on™ GBC 2.0/RGY units (the “ slaves”) without the
need of a DMX controller . The mast er unit will be set t o operate i n either Automatic,
Sound, or Laser Sky mode, while th e slav e units will be s et to oper ate i n Slav e Mode.
Once set and connected, t he slave units will operat e in unison with the mast er unit.
Configure the units as indi cated below.
Slave units:
1. Press <MEN U> repeatedly until SLA shows bli nking on the display.
2. Press <ENT> (S LA will show solid on the displ ay).
3. Connect the DMX input of t he first slave unit to th e DMX output of the
master unit
4. Connect the DMX input of t he subsequent slave units t o the DMX
output of the previous sl ave unit.
5. Finish setting and conn ecting all the slave units .
Master unit:
1. Set the master unit to op erate in either, Automati c, Laser Sky, or Sound
mode, as previously indi cated.
2. Make the master unit the fi rst unit in the DMX daisy ch ain.
• Wait until all the slave units are configured and connect ed before connecting the
master unit to the DMX daisy chain.
• Never connect a DMX controller to a DMX string configured for Master/Slave
operation because it may interfere with the signals f rom the master unit.
Do not connect more than 31 sl ave units to the master uni t.
