5. Technical Information

Product

Maintenance

Dust build-up reduces light output p erformanc e and can cause overh eating. Thi s can
lead to reduction of the lig ht sour ce’s li fe and mechani cal wea r. To m aintain opt imum
performance and minimiz e wear, clean your li ghting produ cts at least twic e a month.
(Use and environmental con ditions may require increas ed cleaning frequency.)
Unplug the product from power.
Wait until the product is cold.
Use a vacuum (or dr y compressed air ) and a soft brush t o remove dust coll ected
on the external surface and fan vents.
Clean the glass panel (l aser aperture) with a mild solut ion of glass cl ea ner or
isopropyl alcohol.
Apply the solution directly to a soft, lint-free cotton cloth or a lens cl ea ning tissue,
and drag any dirt or grime to the outside of the glass.
Gently polish t h e glass surfac e u ntil it is free of haze and lint.
Always dry the glass surfa ce carefully after cleani ng them.

DO NOT open this product for cleani ng or servicing.

Returns

The user must send th e merch andi se pr epaid, in the or igi nal b ox, a nd wit h it s ori ginal
packing and accessories. CHAUVET® will not issue cal l tags.
Call CHAUVET® and requ est a Return Merch andise Authorizati on (R
MA) number
before shipping th e product. Be prepar ed to pro vid e t he m od el num ber, serial number,
and a brief description of the cause for the return.
The user must clearl y label the pack age with a Return Merchandise Auth orization
(RMA) number. CHAUVET® will refuse any product returned without an RMA number.
DO NOT write the RMA number directly on the box. In s t e ad, write it on a
properly affixed label.
Once you have received th e RMA number, please include t he following informat ion on a
piece of paper inside the box:
Your name
Your address
Your phone number
The RMA number
A brief description of the problem
Be sure to pack th e pr oduct properly. Any shipping damage resulting from inadequate
packaging will be the customer’s responsibility. FedEx packing or double-boxing are
recommended.
CHAUVET® reserves the right to use its own discretion to repair or
replace returned product(s).

Claims

The carrier is r esponsibl e for any d amage i ncurred durin g ship ping to this produc t or
any part that shipped with it . Ther efore, if th e receiv ed merch andise a ppears t o hav e
damages caused during shipping, the c ustomer m ust subm it the dam age rep ort and
any related claims with th e carrier, not CHA UVET®. The customer must submit the
report upon reception of th e damaged merchandise. F ailure to do so in a timely manner
may invalidate the custom er’s claim with the carri er.
For other issues s uch as missing compo nents or parts, dam age not related to shipping,
or concealed damage, th e c ustomer must make claim s to CHAUVET® within 7 day s of
receiving the product.
