Tip The most common reason for clock slip problems is that the dial-tdm-clock priority parameter is set improperly. Change
the default setting for dial-tdm-clock priority from free-running clock to a setting that matches your system
requirements.

Saving Configuration Changes

To prevent the loss of the gateway configuration, save it to NVRAM, by following these steps:
Step1 Enter the enable command and password to go to privileged EXEC mode. You are in privileged EXEC mode when the
prompt changes to Gateway#.
Gateway> enable
Password: password
Gateway#
Step2 Save the configuration changes to NVRAM so that they are not lost during resets, power cycles, or power outages:
Gateway# copy running-config startup-config
Step3 Return to privileged EXEC mode:
Gateway(config-if)# Ctrl-Z
